Can you name what is most important for you? What is on first place? Commission rate? Payment schedule? Credibility of the program? Conversion rate? Promoted brand?

The best ones... hm... CJ probably, check also AdBrite and AdEngage (adult websites also), Join Amazon affiliate if you have online store. |

I am using CJ to sell web hosting related product and doing well for me. Share-a-sale is also nice.

My best affiliate programs have been CPA Storm and Offersquest for promoting free stuff and survey offers.
As to what is most important, I think it is the credibility and good conversions

Offersquest is best for promoting surveys offers.

Offersquest was one of the best for survey offers and they are still one of the best. But they don'y have some of the best coverting offers at the moment.
CPA Storm is now catching up and I just made a few cents short of thousand dollars from them last month.

Clickbank - but competition is tough
Paydotcom - better choice
Commission Junction. Lots of choices from household names, but VERY strict on traffic sources.
If you are looking to make a living out of this you got to check out the site below. Dude has put up proof he makes $200k per year and is taking in new students
