Only the websites who are ranked highly for very competitive terms will ever see any traffic from Ask in my opinion. The traffic according to Alexa, is like 1/100th of any of the big 3.

Hi there, I do get a bit of traffic from Ask - it's more of a drip-feed compared to the traffic from Google though!

I also do get traffic from ask - I'm on the 1st page for a lot of keywords and products - but nothing more than 1-2 clicks/day.

Ask, is a different kind search engine. If you have an informational web site you will do good with ask.

I think their quality of results is fine, but no one uses it. They were speding a ton of money, i'm sure their investors are not very happy.

As I understand it, Ask is a meta search engine. It derives its rankings from synthesising the results of other search engines. From observation it looks like Google with the edges smoothed. By definition if you optimise Google, Yahoo and MSN you should pick up some Ask traffic.

I have a website which is getting like 25 visitors per day from Ask.
It is more than Google or Yahoo on some days.
And I find that visitors from Ask are more likely to buy something than those from Google or Yahoo

Fahmohd,
I wouldn't go as far as you but as you don't need to optimise for Ask, you might as well be grateful for the traffic.

You are right,
I consider the traffic Ask.com as just a bonus
